Article 1 – Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions:

Consumer means a natural person acting outside professional or business activity.
Company means Femme Lumière, as defined in Article 2.
Agreement means any distance contract concluded via the website.
Right of Withdrawal means the consumer’s legal right to cancel the purchase within the applicable period.
Business Day means a calendar day excluding weekends and public holidays.

Article 3 – Applicability

These Terms and Conditions apply to all offers, orders, and agreements concluded via the Femme Lumière website.

By placing an order, the consumer agrees to these Terms and Conditions.


Article 4 – The Offer

All product offers are subject to availability.

Product images are intended to represent the items as accurately as possible. Minor variations in colour or appearance may occur due to screen settings.

Obvious errors or mistakes do not bind Femme Lumière.


Article 5 – Formation of the Agreement

The agreement is concluded once the consumer completes the order process and receives an order confirmation email.

Femme Lumière reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders in cases of suspected fraud, incorrect information, or inability to fulfill the order.

Secure payment systems are used for all transactions.


Article 6 – Prices and Taxes

All prices displayed on the website are inclusive of applicable taxes.

All applicable import duties and customs fees are included in the purchase price. Customers will not be charged additional shipping fees at checkout unless explicitly stated.


Article 7 – Shipping and Delivery

Femme Lumière offers complimentary worldwide delivery on all orders.

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days.

Delivery typically takes 6–8 business days worldwide.

All shipments are sent using tracked priority shipping.

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to customs processing, carrier delays, or circumstances beyond the Company’s control.

Femme Lumière shall not be liable for delays caused by third-party carriers, customs authorities, or force majeure events.


Article 8 – Right of Withdrawal (Returns & Exchanges)

Consumers have the legal right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days after receiving the order.

To maintain an efficient and premium process, Femme Lumière provides the following options upon return:

  • Exchange for another size

  • Exchange for another product from the Femme Lumière collection

  • Store credit equal to the purchase value

Store credit may be used for future purchases on the website.

Monetary refunds are not offered as a standard option. Where legally required, Femme Lumière will comply with applicable consumer protection laws.

Returned items must be unworn, in original condition, and include all original packaging and tags.


Article 9 – Defective or Incorrect Items

In the rare case of a defective or incorrect item, Femme Lumière will fully cover return shipping costs and provide an appropriate replacement.


Article 10 – Payment

Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.

All payments are processed through secure third-party providers.

Orders are only fulfilled after successful payment confirmation.

Article 12 – Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, images, branding, logos, and designs, is the property of Femme Lumière.

Femme Lumière shall not be liable for indirect damages, delays, or losses resulting from third-party carriers, customs procedures, or events beyond reasonable control.


Article 14 – Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.

Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.

Consumers within the EU may use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform where applicable.
